For model therapeutic drugs the extraction is exhaustive! We also see clear evidence that the extraction process is favorable towards lower concentrations. This is an advantage for applications that has limited sample volume available. We have also results from combining low volume acceptor and high volume donor that is in compliance with the theoretical predicted enrichment factor.
