The two day seminar covered several topics.
In Day 1, the main focus was introduction to EME, in more detail:
- The EME principle.
- The new ETN-12 EME: How does it work and what’sthe future development of the instrument.
- Status of EME.
- Development of an EME method: Basic strategy and comparisonto traditional sample preparation methods.
- Use of the ETN-12 EME – Practical training.
Day 2 consisted of presentations and discussions. Here the main focus was:
- Presentation of the latest EME publications with a focus on various fields of application.
- Goals for the future research activities – An overview.
- Concluding discussion & farewell.
