5.3 MNOK from the Norwegian Research Counsil

We are proud to announce that G&T Septech AS (GTS) has been awarded NOK 5.3 million in funding from the Norwegian Research Council! The funding will be used in an innovation project (IPN) where GTS will work with partners St. Olavs Hospital in Trondheim, the Department of Pharmacy and the Department of Physics from the University of Oslo, Norway.

Electro Membrane Extraction (EME) is a unique sample preparation technology that is patent protected. The concept can replace a large portion of the sample prep techniques currently used. It has a broad potential, and can be used for a large number of applications. GTS have decided to develop the concept for clinical analysis. We will first offer a combined shaker and a voltage/current supply instrument together with conductive vials and membranes, followed by release of a 96 well option currently under development.
